Description of the Nice Holiday Home - One Bedroom with Queen Size Double Bed

Lovingly furnished and comfortable, this stylish one bedroom apartment benefits from being in a peaceful position in the Old Town (Vieux Nice). Vieux Nice is one of the most fascinating areas of Nice with it's small historic streets filled with cafes, restaurants small boutiques of all varieties, galleries and a myriad of beautiful old churches. Within 2 minutes of the apartment there are several bakers, a small fishmarket, 4 butchers and a small supermarket, hairdressers and indoor swimming pool.

The apartment also benefits from being just a couple of minutes walk from Gare Routière (the main bus station), perfect for exploring all of the other towns along the Cote D'Azur for just 1 euro, including the famous Cannes and Monaco.
The apartment is about 5 minutes walk from the Promenade des Anglais with it's many beaches, the closest being Castel Plage. Here you can take part in the many water sports and activities, just languish on the beach with the beautiful people, or roller blade along the Promenade and watch the many entertainers along the way.

The main shopping centre, avenue Jean Medecin and the zone Pieton is less than 10 minutes walk, where you have Galaries Lafayette, Zara, Mango and many, many shops, cafes and restaurants. It is Nice's answer to Oxford Street. For those that go for labels like Louis Vuiton, Chanel, Armani etc., Avenue Suede and rue Paradis is close by.

Nice is good for any type of holiday with it's beautiful climate, hot in the Summer and mild in Winter, the inhabitants sit out on the terraces all year round, people watching. It never dies even when all of the tourists have left and there is never a dull moment.
There are events in Nice and surrounding areas all year round. In February the Nice Carnival, in May the Monaco Grand Prix, also in May is the Cannes Film Festival, June La Fete de la Musique, July the Nice Jazz Festival, various boat shows along the coast and many other events.

Nice is the perfect place to holiday - something for everyone. There is only one problem - like me, you will not want to leave!!
