Google
loves us!
|
And we love Google. Our website
has been online for almost three weeks, and we're still working very hard
to improve it, but already Google has ranked us in the Top Ten of advertisers
of holiday rental apartments in Nice, France.
With almost 500,000 competiting
webpages, that's not a bad result at all, we would say!
Part of this success is due to the
knowledge of how to handle Google, so not using dirty tricks, because these
guys are ever so clever and know every trick in the book, and producing
straightforward information. Another part of our success with Google is
that we translate our webpages in 12 different languages -- English, Russian,
Norwegian, Spanish, Danish, Italian, German, French, Dutch, Portuguese,
Finnish and Swedish. So if you advertise your property with us, you won't
have just one webpage, but twelve of them!
Google and we are good partners.
They know the global market, we know the local market. Together we will
make it work!

Juliana
lost her keys
|
No, we're not telling which Juliana
from Milan, Italy it was, but last Sunday she lost her keys to the flat.
She was in a panic and called me. Good thing that we had a spare set of
keys in the house. I told her to calm down and I was on my way to the flat.
Within 30 minutes I could give her the spare set of keys, and she and her
family were able to relax. They hadn't opened our bottle of rosé
yet, so this was the right time to do it.
What happened? The keys fell into
the elevator shaft. Maintanance was called, so once these guys knew that
I was on my way with another set of keys, they layed back. It was a Sunday,
after all. They promised to fetch the keys within two days, so that solves
the problem.
Events like this are part of this
business, and we're not complaining. We knew it was awful for Juliana and
her family. After all it's their holiday and they deserve this break after
a year of hard work and stress. That's what you need to realise when you
are letting an apartment. They don't need that shit any more than you do,
and you have to make the best of it and keep them feeling comfortable.
I'm sure Juliana and her family are having a great time in Nice! |
